The wonderful world of jazz can be many things, but two are essential: improvisation and a distinctive identity! Bass player and all-rounder Marcus Miller and girl-next-door singer Stacey Kent have both in abundance. Music magazine «Down Beat» called Marcus Miller a «world traveller», and the world he travels is reflected in his music, which he imbues with his own personality. Stacey Kent, on the other hand, takes a different approach: She immerses herself in bossa nova, Broadway songs and chansons until she becomes part of these musical worlds. Both are at home in these different worlds and invite us to share them!
